Dor Shada Resort By The Sea

I should not say that and keep this really good address for my family, but this hotel is a perfect deal: clean room, clean swimming pool, and clean beach, just outside the highway from Bangkok! And we can see good maintenance and improvements year after year.

Very beautiful resort, we came with BFA for training camp. -ROOMS: rooms are very spacious, well designed, clean, bathrooms are clean but there are some bad smells coming sometimes. Room ratings (9.3/10) -Our building: the hotel has i think 3 separate buildings for rooms, our building was nice clean, needs a bit AC in the corridors. (8/10) -Pool: the pool was cool, clean and the view was fantastic over looking the sea (9.1/10) -Food: we've tried a full meal once only, it was delicious but needs more salt. (7.2-10) Overall the hotel was fantastic, staff were helpful. Definitely highly recommended

The ambience of the public areas is amazing. The pool is great, and so is the beach. The wifi is horrendous - I ended up turning it off, as literally nothing would load. There is NO hot water. When I mentioned both upon checkout the staff was only smiling. I asked if this is the first time they hear this feedback and she replied no. That's all. Absolutely unacceptable for a property with this pricetag (4000/night). I asked for a manager and was told, there is no manager. I then asked for an email address of the manager and was given a generic contact address, being reassured this would be the manager's email. It makes the impression that the hotel does not care about this feedback at all. Shame, as it's such a stunning setup. The rooms themselves are also good. Would come again, but only if hot water and wifi are fixed. I should also add, the food is very basic - more like 2-3 star, both the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Not a big deal for me as I usually eat outside, but worth considering if breakfast or food in general is a variable for consideration.
