Doral Arrowwood

Right off the highway. The room is great. Spacious. Clean. Has a balcony. But the front desk representative is rude. Speaks without knowing the reservation details. Very short. And abrupt. Maybe over worked? Not sure, but other than that pretty awesome facility. Thank you for your accommodations, and peaceful stay. ✌🏻😎

While it is a convenient location for other nearby towns, it is right on a major highway and rail line so lots of noise. There was a HORRIBLE sewer smell both nights that we were there. It began about the same time each night. Was worse in the hallway and then traveled into our room very strongly (think someone getting a perm in their hair mixed with sewer). I reported it and they feigned ignorance. I spoke with a manager upon leaving and she said she had no clue what it could be. We had to go back up to our room before leaving and the smell was still there. I made sure to tell the manager if she or someone else would go up, they would smell it. She just looked at me with no comment or acknowledgment. The room was also dingy with a very old mattress that was so thin, the scratchy sheets wouldn’t even stay put and pulled off at the slightest movement. For a $300+ per night price tag, it was totally not worth it!!

The rooms are remodeled to the latest Courtyard design. The pillows are very small. I was not offered water bottles or a late checkout as Titanium Elite. The hotel is very pricey for what you get. The gym has two mini splits on separate thermostats, and they are constantly fighting each other. One blows full cold while the other one blows full hot. There is no need to have the heat on in June, it was very uncomfortable and the thermostats are locked at an uncomfortably warm setting.
