Dorfhotel Beludei

I recently stayed at Dorfhotel and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were also very knowledgeable about hiking routes and generous with giving recommendations. The room was clean, thoughtful and had an amazing view. It has the convenience of a town but was quiet enough for you to enjoy an afternoon listening to the birds. (I kind of wish there were insect screens on the doors and windows given that it’s summer and we leave them open for ventilation and to cool the air, but noticed that this doesn’t seem to be the norm at Dolomites.) We really enjoyed the meals as well! The red meat dishes were very well cooked. The wellness facilities looked wonderful, though I didn’t have the chance to try many of them. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others!

Stayed here mid July for 3 days in Val Gardena before doing the AV1. We were so pleased we chose to stay in Santa Cristina and at Dorfhotel. Every employee was spectacularly nice, helpful, and caring. The room was giant and nice. The meals were large and fantastic. Couldnt recommend more highly!

We had an incredible stay here over 3 nights! For starters, everyone from the front desk to the breakfast/dinner service was so helpful and friendly. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and are happy to answer any questions you have. We were given several recommendations for hikes in the areas and the front desk even provided hiking poles for us to use! They also do guided hiking tours for free if you don’t want to go out by yourself. We were also offered a ride from the bus stop to the hotel when we first got there which was extremely helpful. Second, the rooms and hotel are beautiful. It was truly well decorated and had many thoughtful touches throughout the hotel. It felt very homey and it was peaceful. The pool and wellness area were a dream! Third, the menu offerings were delicious. I’ve never had such fabulous 4-course meals before. Fresh and many interesting choices. For breakfast, there was always a large variety of offerings that were also fresh. The coffee delightful as well! Overall, this place spoiled me and I miss it already! It was a highlight of my time in the Dolomites and Italy. Thank you!!!
