The location is as good as it looks. First floor rooms already get a good view, I can imagine the ones higher up would be even better. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, just strange there wasn't a coffee machine anywhere (they serve coffee in a flask). I was hoping the bar in the entrance with the old F1 car and bike would be available but it wasn't which was a shame given this area is used for advertising.
It's hard to evaluate the place. Because on one hand you have an incredible view onto the Nurburgring track, but on the other - there is NO AIRCONDITIONING in this hotel! Something I haven't even thought of when booking. Also breakfasts are so-so, nothing special. But the place itself... Wow. However if you like to sleep long in the mornings, you'll be wake up by engines roaring... :))
We recently stayed at the Dorint Hotel Nürburgring and had a bit of a mixed experience. The location is unbeatable — right on the track with incredible views — and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. For that alone, it felt worth the money. However, we were really disappointed by the reception staff, who came across as unhelpful and quite rude during our stay. It left us feeling unwelcome, which was a shame given how great the rest of the hotel was. With better customer service, this could have easily been a 5-star experience.
