Dorint Hotel am Dom Erfurt

I first visited this hotel with my husband when it opened, and now, 20 years later, I returned with my daughter. I have only positive things to say about both the hotel and its staff. The lobby is spacious and inviting, and both check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to the friendly and professional receptionists. The rooms are still in excellent condition—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained even after two decades. AC is working perfectly. Breakfast was perfect, and the waitresses were exceptionally kind and helpful. We will definitely come again!

Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean and comfy. Breakfast is very reasonable with good variety of foods. People working at hotel are awesome and always happy to help - I can surely say that they are the best part of the hotel!

The only thing good about this hotel is the location. For €200, I would expect significantly better. I would put this hotel at 2 stars. The rooms are extremely outdated, the beds are firm and are uncomfortable. I reserved a single bed room and was giving a double bed, which the beds were too small for me to fit comfortably on on without hanging off the edge of it. I went and asked for a single bed, and the manager informed me there were no single bed rooms in the hotel to begin with, although both of my colleagues had single bed rooms. Which according to the manager did not exist. The window does not open enough to do anything, and the cooling for the room blew hot. They charged me for parking with the hotel although I expressed multiple times I was in the public parking area, and provided my ticket for the public parking. But they still charged me. And then they charged me with breakfast, although that was not included in my stay. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel, it is way overpriced for the services provided.
