Dorint Strandresort & Spa Sylt Westerland

This top notch resort located right on the beach is very high quality. The service is exceptional and very friendly and inviting. Plenty of free parking around. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Dogs welcome to stay in the hotel and given a special bed and food dishes. Restaurant and bar on site. The price is justifiable given the type of hotel. Recommend staying here again.

We had a nice stay. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the Bing Bing Bap was delicious. Rooms were clean, and the hotel had a pleasant atmosphere. The spa and swimming pool were really good. The highlight for us was the kids’ playroom with someone there to look after the children—such a thoughtful touch!

Stayed for five days in Sylt/westerland; could not run a credit card to pay on departure; almost missed flight while they messed about until we could wait no longer. Ultimately had to pay partially in cash (and will be responsible for all the extra transaction charges as if it did not cost enough already.) We were also charged erroneously for sauna use. There was no internet, only three partially functioning hotspots. Manager persistently "too busy to speak to us". Luxury hotel ? Complete joke. Pretty place, but overpriced and incompetent managing staff. Many better places to stay nearby. Stay away, far away.
