DORMERO Hotel Bergström Lüneburg

The hotel from the show Rote Rosen. We had a great time (410) room with a beautiful view of the old town. Great breakfast. We played cards in the evening out on the deck connected to the bar. Close to the old town, everything in walking distance. Bed a bit soft.

Lovely location and clean, spacious room—really lovely! However, the hotel staff felt a bit cold and not very welcoming. Maybe it’s just a cultural difference, but I felt they were just staring without much interaction. The underground parking area is also very narrow, which makes it difficult to drive through. I stayed for 7 days while visiting my partner’s family. Overall, I’d stay again for the location and value, which would happen within the next couple of years. I can't complain beyond that.

4 STAR LEVEL NOT MET!!!!!!We spent one night at this hotel and the problems started before we checked in as no parking was available at EV charger out front so they sent us into both garages to look for more charge points that were not found either. Beware of garages as both are quite narrow especially the one furthest (we have a SUV) away from front desk that is almost impossible to navigate in and out of without danger. Although front desk agent was courteous she was all by herself and completely overwhelmed with check ins and guest requests. We got to room and found a lovely view but room is in dire need of renovation with one side of bed tilting downwards and only 2 small pillows available so had to walk to front desk again (no telephone in room!!!) and ask for 2 more that showed up about 90 minutes later. The bathrobes in room had broken belt loops so obviously were old and worn and no body lotion available in bathroom at all only soap and shower cap. Breakfast buffet was nice and being able to get a custom omelet was a plus.
