Great hotel outside the city center, with lots of restaurants and things to do nearby :) The room was super, and great view over Stuttgart.
Disappointing Stay with Unclear Information I stayed at this hotel, located in the SI-Centrum complex in Stuttgart, which is known for its theaters, cinema, bars, restaurants, and entertainment options. The area itself is lively and was likely very impressive in the past. Unfortunately, my experience at the hotel did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, I found the check-in process unwelcoming. Staff were not particularly friendly, and early check-in is not accommodated before 15:00. As I explored the property, I noticed that the hotel seems to serve a dual purpose—not only for regular guests, but also as long-term accommodation for other residents. While I understand and support the need for housing initiatives, I believe this should be communicated clearly at the time of booking. The current setup creates a very different atmosphere than what is suggested online, and I feel this lack of transparency is unfair to paying guests. The condition of the facilities is noticeably worn, and the once-high standards have declined. During my stay, there were strong odors (like cannabis) in certain areas, and the general environment did not feel like a typical hotel experience. Restaurants within the complex were expensive given the quality. The on-site food court was open but appeared to be reserved for residents, which made the experience somewhat confusing and awkward, especially when paying premium prices elsewhere in the building. The room itself was fine and relatively clean. However, the advertised “free minibar” contained only a couple of items—something worth improving. Breakfast was €24.90 and parking was €20 per night, which felt high considering the overall experience. In summary, this stay was disappointing due to the lack of transparency, the condition of the property, and the atmosphere. I hope the hotel updates its online information so future guests can make more informed decisions.
1. No hot water - complained to the front desk and an ‘engineer’ came over and told me that boiler is out of water and ‘these regiona’ are suffer from water pressure issue, I ran to the front desk to swap for another room, it works, thx for the information 👏 2. Breakfast - it was used to be fabulous, now the venue is changed and the variety was pretty much reduced, what a shame 😳 3. WiFi - like other people’s comment 😮💨 4. Security - lots of people ‘walking’ along the ground floor reception area. Please beware of your valuable belongings 😵💫 5. Heating - why there are heating fan in the hotel room, you can easily imagine what happened 🥶 I have been staying in this hotel during my trips since 10years ago, conditions in 2025 is 🤬🤬🤬
