Dorsett Kai Tak

I had a wonderful experience at Dorsett Kai Tak! The hotel's facilities and ambiance were exceptional, but what truly stood out was Alice's outstanding guest service. Her warm, attentive, and professional approach made my stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this hotel because it's close to my son's home. It is not 5 star, maybe 3.5 or 4? Although brand new, room was disappointingly small with strange design features. Very little storage space, especially in bathroom and bedside tables. Bed was average but pillows were terrible. Felt like a sack of rice! Hot water was intermittent with change from hot to cold for no reason as reported by other guests. Room lighting is a confusing system that I never mastered. There is a strange internal door in the room that is not needed. Breakfast @ $207HKD is appalling. Western choices were not hot because of serving in iron pots with no lids. Avoid! There is no laundry room or info about laundry options. There is no direct access to next door mall. Shuttle bus to MTR is handy but driver thinks he is Max Verstappen so hang on! Even toilet paper is cheapest one ply. Staff were invariably pleasant and tried to be helpful.

I don't even know how this is a 5 star hotel.The only thing i liked about the service is that when we arrived there was a person to cover us with and umbrella because it was raining and they also give the kids a complimentary teddy. Anyways the rooms were extremely small we had to get multiple upgrades. But still in the largest sized bedroom thr bathrooms were so small that we couldn't stretch or even wear clothes properly. There was no even a place to keep our suitcases the room was so small that I stubbed my toe so many times that my toe started to bleed.Also there were bed bugs and carpet bugs me and my cousin got bites on our faces and on our body the TV's were also lagging sooo much.but the breakfast was okay.But the lunch was horrible we have fish and chips at a FIVE STAR HOTEL anyways rhe pool was a bit dirty 🙃 and also their room service was slow i asked for some bandaids and some ice for my toe and they gave it and hour later and the next day I went down at the reception to ask for a bandaid again they said to me please go back to your room we will deliver it but they never did So yeah I don't recommend this this Is for sure no a five star hotel
