Doruk Palas Hotel

We spent 3 nights in Doruk Palas Hotel and it was such a great experience. The hotel is located a short walk away from Galata tower, Sishane (the closest metro station), and Karakoy (the closest tram station). It's away from the hustle and bustle but still quite close to the action. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View and the view was truly impeccable! Watching the sunset everyday was our favorite activity. Mohammed and his staff took such great care of us. From arranging transfers to sharing restaurant suggestions, Mohammed was an exceptional host. Special mention to Mr. Osman, the cat/ security. The highlight of our stay was his daily room visits. If you're looking to stay close to the Galata Tower and Karakoy area with sprawling views of Istanbul's best attractions, Doruk Palas is truly a great option!

You will never regret the stay in this hotel. We are here for the second time and for sure , we will come back! Friendly stuff will make your stay marvelous. The location of the hotel is beyond perfect. Breakfast is good and tasty with options from all over the world to traditional Turkish meals. Mr Osman (the security cat) is friendly! The manager of the hotel is the best manager ever! Caring, friendly, and helpful. Thank you for the amazing time and see you soon!

My workmate and I enjoyed this genuine hotel. Its location is perfect, close to the Galata Tower and with beautiful views of the Golden Horn and its mosques. It's comfortable and clean. It has got a very welcoming recepción area where a delicious breakfast is served in the morning. The receptionists Muhammed, Ghofrane, Karim Yildener and the waiters are always kind and helpful. If I return to Istanbul, I will stay at this hotel again.
