Dosso Dossi Hotels & SPA Downtown

The best service ever! I was surprised that Istanbul has such a great hotel with good service and good rooms. Very quick response and perfect customer service. They made me change the idea i have about Istanbul hotels. Location is superb! Restaurant and cafes are nearby. Historai mall is also a 10 min walk. Recommended

THROWING AWAY guest items Everyone should be aware of this issue. Manager, desk clerk, cleaning crew all covering for one another. On may 9, 2025, room 425, I checked in dosso dossi downtown. I brought my own pillow and pillow case (I have allergies). The pillow case was gone the next day. Too tired to report it that night, i slept.the next day May 11, the pillow now was also gone. When I reported it to the manager in the lobby, she replied without assessing the situation that noone took anything from my room. I have a picture of the pillow case which was a king size pillowcase. I confronted the cleaning lady as that was the same lady, she replied that she took it and will wash it and return it. The day before I left the hotel May 13, 2025, I asked again as I did every morning i had the same answer: "she does not know" in fact the manager was upset that I asked about my pillow and the pillowcase. That same night, May 13, I called the front office 5 times with no answer. I walked down to find the clerk in conversation with the cleaning manager. She was shocked to see me. I simply asked for a wake up call at 2:00 a.m. to leave for my flight to dubai. She told me: "yes, will do". I did not recieve a wake up call. Now I left Dosso dossi downtown Istanbul with a bitter taste in my mouth. I do not need money, I do not need another pillow. I just need an explanation. I never recover my pillow. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Not only was the room below standard — dirty, poorly maintained, and noisy — but the most shocking part was that money was stolen from my room during my stay. I reported the incident to the front desk, but they were dismissive and offered no real assistance or investigation. There were no security cameras in the hallways, and housekeeping was the only one with access to the room during the time the money went missing. I felt completely unsafe and violated. Management showed no concern or urgency, and I was left to deal with the situation on my own. This hotel is not only unprofessional but unsafe. I strongly urge others to avoid it at all costs.
