Dosso Dossi Hotels & SPA Golden Horn

This hotel was top-class, and you get A LOT for your money here. The rooftop swimming pool was absolutely amazing. The free shuttle to Taksim was a great bonus we weren’t aware of until check-in. The spa is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and is highly recommended. We got a room on the ground floor with a cozy balcony. There was no view from it, but it offered extra privacy. Hotel breakfasts in Turkey are usually not very impressive, but here the selection was excellent—actually the best I’ve seen at a Turkish hotel. (And I’ve been to many.) The staff made you feel like royalty. When we had to check out before breakfast was served, we were given a lunch box to take on our trip. This hotel is truly recommended, and I will definitely choose it for future stays.

Overall, it was a great stay and totally worth the money. The location is amazing, and the rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Good stuff: • Super affordable for the area • Breathtaking views (especially from our upgraded room facing the Golden Horn!) • Breakfast was solid — had everything you could want • Staff were really helpful — especially Mahmood, who stepped in when a taxi driver tried to scam me. Big thanks to him! Not-so-good stuff: • The restaurant prices were way too high • Communication was honestly terrible — I sent multiple emails and only got a reply after I had already checked in • Tried to book a taxi through them, but they just didn’t respond • Not enough chairs by the pool, which made it frustrating to enjoy it So yeah, a mix of great and not-so-great, but I’d still recommend it if you’re after a good location and friendly staff.

For the money, you can't go wrong, positives is location and provisions in the room absolutely outstanding. The pool area is very clean and nice but super cold, coldest pool I been in, this despite the temp being about 38 degrees. Breakfast is massive but very continental hard for a British folk to eat much. Customer service is ok but they did not allow me a late check out not even by 1 hour which was very, very sad. Overall value for money you can't go wrong but quality does need improving with few minor tweaks as it has ability to be a 5 star hotel in reviews and actual.
