I thought the view would be nice because it's on a hill, but there was a closed hotel below me... I went for a walk on the beach in the evening, but the promenade and the roads along the way were not well maintained, so there was a lot of grass and fallen leaves... It felt like a ruin 😅 I was scared, so I came back immediately... I stayed in a room in the management building, not glamping, and it was good that it had the bare necessities of a bed, a desk, and a clothes rack... but the windows were tiny and it felt like a cell, and the room and hallway were closed in and it felt like there was no air circulating. There was one unisex toilet in the common area, one stylish but small hand washing area that was hard to use, and a refrigerator. It was good that we had it almost exclusively, but there seemed to be a man staying there alone, so I was a bit concerned about the sink and toilet... The bath was a large public bath, but it was located at the back of the front desk and was clean. We were treated to bathing in groups, so it was good that we could use it without hesitation. There was also a sauna, although I didn't use it because I don't like it. The staff communicated via LINE and I only stayed overnight, so I didn't see them much except when checking in and out, but they were generally nice people. Last year, I stopped off in Ako on my way to Okayama and stayed there for one night... The room felt closed in and gloomy, and when I went for a walk I saw ruins. The surroundings were so ruins that it made me feel depressed. Glamping is more open and you can have a BBQ, go to the sauna, and have a lively time, so it might be fun. 😅
