Double gate Farm

We had a lovely break at this B&B, Debbie was very accommodating as this visit was literally a last minute decision and we arrived within a few hours of booking. The room was spotless and very spacial, the bed was super comfy, and we had a selection of teas, coffees, drinking chocolate and a bottle of milk in the fridge. The bathroom was huge and came with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hand soap, so everything was thought about for anything we may have came without. There was a folder that came with plenty of information with local shops, hospitals, places to eat and places of interest, that was very useful. We had a beautiful view of a stream from our patio area, and a gorgeous field opposite that, we enjoyed a nice cup of tea regularly sat in the sun. Breakfast was easy to order via an app so literally you select your food, time and pop on your table number, make your way to the dining room and find your table number, and your coffee and juice are waiting. There's an amazing choice for breakfast from cereals, fruits, omelette, sandwiches, full English and vegetarian breakfasts. The quality of the food was amazing, you can tell it is locally sourced and a great deal of care and precision goes into preparing your meal. There's an afternoon tea service available there, we didn't use this but it did look very busy most days and again the food looked amazing. Overall, we have a very relaxing stay, and the hosts here are so welcoming. We would definitely use this B&B again. Thank you for a great experience.

We have just returned from a lovely stay at this establishment. Debbie and Steve are very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful location and perfectly situated for trips to Glastonbury and Cheddar etc Accommodation is spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, with all needs/wants catered for. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices, locally sourced, and very well cooked and presented. Tea shop has lots of lovely home baked cakes too! We will return!

Debbie & Steve, Made us feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good the room and disabled facilities were exceptional. We had a very relaxing peaceful time away and will hopefully be going back and have already recommended it to our friends.
