DoubleTree by Hilton Auckland Karaka

Our family recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka for one night. Gary and his team were incredible, the hospitality was outstanding. The hotel itself is stunning. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re stepping into luxury. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. It’s the little touches that make a difference, like being offered a warm biscuit at check-in. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the location, just on the outskirts of Auckland, in Karaka, and close to the motorway on/off-ramps, which made it super convenient. All of the staff were welcoming and professional. Gary and his team really looked after us. We were two adults and three kids, and the kids absolutely loved their first hotel experience, especially the outdoor pool. Breakfast at the hotel is a must! delicious food and a great start to the day. The entire experience was excellent. We would 100% stay again. We loved our time at the DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka.

We are spending a few nights at this hotel after arriving in Auckland in the middle of an international move. This hotel has been fantastic for my family. We reserved two connected rooms which are clean, bright and comfortable. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices and the restaurant and bar offered delicious food in the evening. Overall we have been very pleased with this hotel during our move.

Absolutely loved it. We've been to many hotels all around NZ and the world and this has been one of my favourite. It's unassuming and unpretentious but the rooms are very elegantly decorated and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Being a horse lover I especially loved the horse photographs! Everything was exceptionally clean, breakfast was great with a nice variety of food to choose from. The staff were all cheerful and professional. Free and easy parking was a big plus. Now for the not so good - there was a bit of confusion at check in, we booked through a third party and it seems communication about our package wasn't very clear. The a/c kept turning on and off for no reason which was very strange. There weren't any toiletries in the bathroom save for sanitary bags. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay, were very well rested and will definitely be coming back. It has been our favourite hotel in NZ so far!
