Doubletree By Hilton Beaverton

My friend and I had a wonderful stay here! We arrived near midnight for check in and every night during our stay, we came back to the hotel late. The night staff, Joseph, was incredibly kind, informative about hotel and restaurants near here, and always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. He also gave us warm cookies, which were delightful treats at the end of a long day! Joseph definitely made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The room was very nice and clean as well! 100% would come back! Thank you Joseph! You’re amazing!

It’s an old school hotel probably in need of renovation or brand change. Room HVAC is those old school under window unit. I was there on a moderately cold winter day. It was very warm in the room. I could not get the AC to work but luckily the windows opened. The interstate is very close by and traffic is heavy all night. It’s not super loud in the room. The bed was very comfy. There’s a small 2-cup coffee maker, small microwave and mini fridge. The room layout is a little weird as the sink and bathroom counter are in the entryway. The toilet and shower are in a small room with door and a very loud light/fan combo.

I rarely write one star reviews but if you’re traveling to Beaverton, I’d choose a different hotel. When I arrived at the hotel the very pleasant lady let me know that the WiFi was out and then that there was no gym equipment. I decided to get my room and when I got to the room and saw the carpet was ripped, it smelled musty and the window was open I decided to leave. I expect way more from a Hilton property. I only write this so other travelers are informed of the lack of services and the condition of the property. The front desk staff was awesome.
