DoubleTree by Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park

Double Tree was a wonderful experience. During our arrival, a child had pulled the fire alarm which caused chaos. The fire department and hotel couldn't get the alarm off so for an hour we just heard blaring and couldn't speak to one another. However, the staff was actively trying to solve the problem. The staff was respectful, kind, and willing to assist in any way possible. The rooms were very clean and nice. The cleaning members were also actively cleaning parts of the hotel continuously. Would recommend this for your next stay. I do wish, however, they accommodated early check ins prior to day of arrival.

We had to stay one quick night recently while a trip we were on got extended. The staff was extremely nice, the hotel was a little dated, but was in excellent condition. The only issue I would say is not having two queen rooms available and only having doubles. The rooms seemed large enough to handle queens, and are more comfortable for families staying in the area.

We spent two nights in this hotel and will not stay there again. We changed rooms upon arrival because the a/c was not cooling. They changed us quickly to a new room but there was an error made in their system and it was a hassle to get it straightened out. The phones don’t work, the bathroom had dirty q-tips under the sink cabinet, and the pool was small and dirty. Parking was plentiful so to charge money for it is unreasonable. The location was good and it was quiet in our room, but otherwise we did not enjoy our experience.
