DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Downtown

In addition to enjoying our stay at the hotel, the staff was pleasant and made us feel welcomed. The beds in the room was comfortable and the shower was hot. The orange line T stop (subway) is right next door. And, the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the Boston Common park. Lastly ,the food served by the restaurant, Wisteria, breakfast and dinner, was tasty, yet on the pricey side. We are planning to stay again at this hotel soon.

This hotel was great and I would stay here again. Everything was clean and staff was super nice. They gave us complementary warm cookies at the front desk every morning and a free toothbrush (I forgot mine). They also have a YMCA below the hotel that you can use your hotel card to get into for free. Location of this hotel was perfect too. Very walkable to the must see spots.

The weekends are horrible! When the clubs let out at 2:00 am, the noise sounds like a club music parade in the streets. Absolutely beyond loud! I’ve stayed there numerous times while visiting my son who’s in law school. The location is very close to his apt, restaurants, and other activities, but the weekend noise is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Each time I call down to the front desk and it’s the same conversation every time. “We’re so sorry for the noise. The clubs are letting out and we’ve called the police. We understand and the poor children and Tuft’s Medical Center hear it too.” Tufts is beside the hotel. Not sure why the kids in the hospital are mentioned but it’s the same conversation every time. The rooms and service are amazing and the restaurant is great, but I wouldn’t advise staying over a weekend if you want to sleep.
