An afternoon to remember thanks to great customer service. I recently attended the hotel for a family celebration. We had booked the terrace for drinks and canapés. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and engaging. The service was fast and the quality of both food and drinks were of high standard. The terrace area is great as it is directly opposite the beach. Thank you Hilton Brighton for making our celebration even more special.

Outstanding Stay at the Hilton Brighton From the moment we arrived at the Hilton Brighton, we experienced exceptional hospitality and warmth that truly made us feel at home. The staff were not only attentive and professional but showed remarkable kindness and patience, especially towards my children who have autism. Their gentle and understanding approach made our stay so much more comfortable and stress-free. The rooms were beautifully maintained—spacious, clean, and elegant—with all the comforts one could wish for. Waking up to the stunning views of Brighton was a true blessing and added a peaceful start to each day. The calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel was a perfect retreat after busy days exploring the city. The dining staff were especially accommodating, showing extra care and understanding with my children’s needs. What stood out most was the genuine kindness and professionalism of the staff, who always made themselves available to assist with warm hearts and gracious spirits. For families like mine, seeking a restful, inclusive, and friendly stay by the seaside, the Hilton Brighton is a truly wonderful choice. We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton for a short family trip and overall, the room and hotel facilities were good enough for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were what you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. However, I do want to highlight some major issues we faced during our stay — especially as we were travelling with a toddler, which made everything a bit more challenging. Despite contacting the hotel ahead of time to request an earlier check-in due to our situation, they were unable to accommodate this. While we understand that early check-in can’t always be guaranteed, there didn’t seem to be much flexibility or effort to help us out, which was disappointing. More frustratingly, the reception service was extremely slow throughout our stay. We had to queue for 40 minutes just to check in, which was incredibly difficult with a toddler to keep entertained. Unfortunately, the experience was just as bad at check-out — another 35-minute wait in line. Every time we needed to speak with reception during our stay, we were met with long queues. It became a running theme and honestly put a damper on the experience. The staff we did interact with were friendly, but the hotel clearly needs more staff at reception — especially during peak times. It’s not ideal to have guests, especially families with small children, waiting so long for basic services. I hope the hotel management takes note and addresses the staffing issues, because it really affected what could have been a much more enjoyable stay.
