DoubleTree by Hilton Canton Downtown

This is a nicely remodeled hotel downtown. We used a parking deck across the street, accessed via a walkway. $16 a day to park. Very secure, can't get on a guest level without a room card to operate the elevator. Every member of the staff, including front desk, housekeeping, restaurant and bar area, were all very friendly and helpful with requests or questions. We had a dinner at a function at the hotel one of our nights. It was one of the best meals we've ever had at a meeting venue. We requested a couple bars of soap as we arrived in our room---within 5 minutes we had them. Rooms are only serviced if you request it. We didn't ask, and needed a couple towels on the 2nd day. We had them in 5 minutes. Little things like that add up to a great stay. You'd be happy to stay here.

Spectacular Honors Accommodations!!! Beautiful atmosphere!! Not only was the room clean, the bed is comfortable and the toilets are high!! The room with “fitness” is very thoughtful, useful and great for privacy and home exercisers like us. The fitness equipment is easy to use and reliable. However!!! It is the Amazing treatment and attentiveness the entire staff from Management to the front desk; shout out to (Jake, Monica and Ky), to the exceptional Porter and Security Guard who helped us with everything from our bags, to parking(free parking is limited; metered parking is free from 4pm-8am daily, $15 parking garage across the street from Hotel) to directions to the Macy Gray concert @ the Canton Palace( walking distance) to the outstanding Tracy in housekeeping (Thanks for taking time to give a how to properly use a luggage cart to Donnie.) that Welcomed us as Hilton Honors members that did it for me!!! All while gracefully and beautifully hosting and assisting The Pro Football Hall of Famers!!! The restaurant/bar located in the hotel is great! Moreover Julie, Kendyl, and Jake are absolutely phenomenal! The deck is privacy at its finest; yet you outside. It is a quick get away and an adult TOTAL VIBE!!! Particularly at night! Total Hotel win!! THE Double Tree COOKIES ARE EVERYTHING!!!!

Everything was great except for literally 1 thing: the pool... I wanted to go for a nice relaxing swim, only to find out the pool was kinda dirty. Pool floor was discolored, turning green and brown, hazy water, and plenty of bugs and debris. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned and serviced in a while... Few people came in and immediately walked right back out. Other than the pool, I had a pretty nice stay, everyone was polite to me. Thank you.
