The people who work here are SO KIND!!!! I called and needed a credit card authorization form — everyone was so accommodating and kind. Best customer service. 100/10. I spoke to Jeff the operations manager and he was so polite and professional. I also spoke with Victoria multiple times, she was the same way. She had to transfer me to someone, I forgot his name, please forgive me, but he was great, too. It made my job so much easier. Thank you all. :)
Beds were GREAT! Bring a noise machine if a lite sleeper like me. The airport runway is not far away. The breakfast buffet was very good, chef can make you omelet of waffle in the kitchen. Servers great too. Corporate needs to review outside courtyard/pool area. Pool out of order, patio area could use a cleaning, smoking area smelled, of course, used cigar awaiting owners return. And the access doors look horrible, like you don't want to touch them. Felt safe, but beware of driving around outside of the area. Charlotte has some bad areas.
It had it's pros and cons. Starting out it wasn't bad. They have warm fresh walnut chocolate chip cookies at the counter if you ask. They were amazing! We ate at their restaurant. It was pricey but the food was good. Same for breakfast. Breakfast is not included. But you can purchase the breakfast buffet for $18 per person or individually priced items. It is conveniently located near the airport. I didn't see any bed bugs. The staff were friendly. Now for the downsides. When we got to the room we noticed our bed had no bed skirt. Visually it would have been nice, but it wasn't a huge deal as we were just staying one night. But then I went to the bathroom late at night and saw 2 roaches.... The large one scattered off before I could get my phone. But I was able to get a picture of this baby one in the sink. In the search for the larger one, I found this pair of ladies underwear which had been left in the bathroom shelf. For the price of the stay, I feel the cleanliness standards need to be higher.
