If you have never stayed here but looking for a clean friendly hotel this is it. It nice, peaceful, has a pool that is indoors and does serve breakfast but adults are a little expensive for breakfast as kids are free. This is our second time staying here and when will be back and not going to any other one as the one before this one was crap....
The pillows were had were hard, but everything else was good. We were in a suite and only one night as it was a quick trip. We often choose DoubleTree because of the cookies!! It's just a little bonus we appreciate!
No manager available during our stay. Hair in our “clean” towels. Television in room didn’t work. Pool was dirty. Advertised buffet style breakfast but was not offered. Couch bed was one of the worst I have had. When booking online we paid for the buffet style breakfast. I can understand when online booking may be wrong… but when we checked it approx 9pm and the staff member confirmed a buffet style breakfast in the morning. I expected a buffet style breakfast. Instead we were informed in the morning their occupancy was not high enough for them to do a buffet style breakfasts and instead we could order an item off their menu. We paid more for this hotel than others in the area with the expectation it would be a buffet style for our children. I am highly disappointed in the false advertising. Also, broken glass mirrors in hall walkways. Stay dog or cat I’m not sure which was walking around the indoor pool area.
