Excellent service and staff. The service is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the location is in close proximity to a lot of good food and fun things to do. Will stay here again next time i frequent Columbus.

Family stayed here, obtained two rooms on second floor. Convenient location, Double beds were comfortable enough, plenty of hot water, staff were pleasant, swimming pool is nice. Check in seemed to take a bit long. We had an issue with mini fridge’s not working in either room. When I mentioned to housekeeping, they had a maintenance man come and replace both within an hour. Happy to see these guys made an effort. The real negative aspect had to do with a humidity issue I noticed another guest commented on in the reviews. My room 212 had visible mold/mildew spots on the ceiling as well as on the A/C unit (Which I cleaned for my own benefit). Definitely affecting the air quality. The other complaint is a sparsity of towels, when asked they said there weren’t any more. This has to be an ownership or management issue. Someone won’t add towels to the budget? They seem busy enough, someone is making money. It wasn’t enough for us to leave and find another place this weekend, but we’ll stay somewhere else in Columbus next weekend.

Very disappointing experience at DoubleTree Columbus, GA I booked two rooms and checked in digitally. When I arrived around 4:30–5:00 PM, I was told one of the rooms wasn’t ready—which was understandable. However, once we got into the room that was ready, the toilet wouldn’t flush and there were hygiene issues (like hair in the bathroom). With a group of guests, this was unacceptable. I went to the front desk and requested to cancel both rooms. The staff member apologized, said a full refund would be processed, and even accompanied me back upstairs so I could retrieve my belongings. We were in the hotel no more than 15–20 minutes before leaving. I was later told that the system noted we stayed the entire weekend—which is simply untrue. I even asked them to review camera footage or speak to the staff who assisted me. I also left a message for the general manager, with no response. To confirm my early departure, I ended up staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Columbus, GA for the same dates, which was a far better experience—clean rooms, helpful staff, no issues. Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and customer service at this location. Still waiting for the remaining refund.
