⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Davenport! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with warm smiles—and of course, the signature warm cookie didn’t hurt either. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a fantastic view of the city. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like plenty of outlets and great water pressure in the shower. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants, the riverfront, and downtown attractions. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about guest satisfaction. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
What a beautiful environment. I came in last minute off the road. Check in was a little slow, but the staff was kind. The room exceeded my expectations. I had a king bed, hardwood floors. Only down side was the water temperature. Breakfast was delicious. Christene was very attentive. She smile with a warmth that rivaled my coffee. I was very grateful for her service. The waterfall in the lobby was the perfect accent. I had such a frustrating day. This was such a welcome reprieve.
I stayed here for a family reunion about 2 weeks ago. Upon arrival, the room I picked on the mobile app was not available, so I was assigned to a different room. Turns out, that room was closed for maintenance. No worries...Cece was more than apologetic and willing to make it right! She was the true definition of great customer service. Things was looking up until the following days when Cece was not available. I understand that housekeeping may not always be available. I actually prefer to keep my own room clean. However, clean towels daily is a must due to my husband having a very low immune system, and towels can not be reused. This is when I encountered Andrea, the most inconsiderate employee I've experienced. She took other people's actions against me to the point that I had to explain that what someone did should have no impact on my request. She was rude when approached, lied on several occasions about not having towels available, and lacked basic customer service skills unless it was someone outside of our group. It was only when I mentioned the medical reason that I was able to get towels sent up to my room (mind you, just 5 minutes prior, Andrea advised that they had NO towels). She failed to put the note in the system so that I wouldn't have to explain myself again. Later that night, we had a banquet catered by the hotel. The room set up looked really nice. When it came to the food, the chicken was not fully cooked (bloody inside) and the roast was unrecognizable and hard. Despite paying for the food, most people either went to bed hungry or had to buy food elsewhere. The next morning, it was necessary to have the paid breakfast. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise given the previous day's meal. The only downside was that there was only 1 worker cooking and maintaining the food on the buffet. The hostess at the breakfast area tried her best to assist. Ultimately, if the hotel agrees to accommodate large groups, there should be adequate staffing to satisfy the various needs of their guests. If you ever visit Davenport, my recommendation would definitely be to bypass this hotel. The only good thing they had going was CeCe and the cookie.
