Overall this was a great stay! We had a retreat with our church there and using the hospitality suites was perfect for our group of 20, which had some kids as well. Getting things while we were was interesting as they seemed a little short staffed, but they still did a great job overall.

Ben and Jessica down at the challenge sports bar were absolute amazing with their hospitality and professionalism. Bartender Ben was working the whole floor while also taking care of a full bar and doing it with ease and grace and a friendly attitude. He was personable and professional and gave us a fantastic experience that we won't forget. Ben is an absolute wizard behind the bar and was an absolute joy to be around. Jessica gave us a wonderful "pro tip" recommendation to add the mash potatoes to the pork green chili. I recommend ordering the Pork Green Chili "Jessica Style." Other than accidentally locking ourselves out on the balcony (be careful closing the balcony door behind you cause it locked when we shut it.) and of course we were saved by the front desk and a patient maintenance man, other than that we had a wonderful time and would suggest this hotel to anyone.

Even though the staff was super helpful and helpful, and the rooms were clean and quiet, I'm giving this hotel 1 star because the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that I was not able to sleep for the two nights of my stay. As I'm writing this review, it's 12:30am and I've just taken a benadryl to try to knock myself out because the bed makes my body hurt so much that I can't fall slepe. The bed is a cheap spring mattress with a cheap thin pad on top. The pillows eventually flatten down to nothing and feel hard under my head because they are filled with more feathers (hard) than down (soft). Cheap cheap cheap. But wait! They have cookies! *rolls eyes* (Who cares?? Every person in my party agreed they were stale and disappointing. It's so weird that their marketing campaign is based around a low-quality food item, rather than delivering on one of the main purposes of a hotel which is to sleep comfortably....) I feel so frustrated and resentful. Not being able to sleep has completely wiped me out and made my trip more difficult than it needed to be.
