DoubleTree by Hilton Dothan AL

We were traveling down for vacation and stayed here on a whim to our vacation destination. We ended up going a bit out of our way. However, it was meant to be. Staying at this hotel started our vacation off right. Cozy room & wonderful amenities. We were able to relax and enjoy outdoor space, which had a vacation feel alone. Our kiddo left behind a couple of stuffies that probably got wrapped up in the bedding. With amazing communication, they did everything in their power to find them and send them safely home. Although one is still on its adventure somewhere. The other is back home with us! Above and beyond. We are so happy this was our stopping point. 😃

I travel frequently for work and have recently begun working in the Dothan, Alabama area. While I was previously loyal to another hotel brand, I decided to give the DoubleTree in Dothan a try—and I’ve been extremely pleased. The hotel offers a great balance of comfort and convenience, with a relaxing pool area and a welcoming bar/restaurant. I’ve really enjoyed the hotel, but what stands out most is the outstanding staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and Brandon, in particular, goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel taken care of. Thanks to the excellent service and amenities, I’ll be staying loyal to the DoubleTree whenever I’m in Dothan.

I was traveling from Jacksonville, Florida to Tuscaloosa, Alabama with an injured knee and wasn’t able to make the full drive in one go. I decided to stop at the DoubleTree in Dothan—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff went out of their way to take care of me, especially Gigi, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. They made sure I had a room on the first floor right by a side entrance so I could park close and avoid unnecessary walking. They even helped freeze my ice packs and checked in regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated. The on-site restaurant was a surprise gem. I ordered wings and smoked Gouda tater tots—easily the best wings I’ve ever had. The bartender and waitress were both friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I have family in Dothan and from now on, this will be the only place I stay when I visit. If you’re passing through or spending time in Dothan, I highly recommend the DoubleTree. The staff, service, and comfort truly set it apart.
