DoubleTree by Hilton Durango

This hotel deserves 5 stars for the front desk service. They were helpful, kind and worked with our family to get the best possible accommodations for the most reasonable price. The rooms overlooked the river and were spacious. Comfortable beds and two sinks in the bathroom area. Overall a great experience in downtown Durango.

So this place was pretty nice. The worst thing I can say is that I didn't care for the brown stripey carpet, but that's high traffic flooring for you. It was clean and comfortable. The food was solid, and the cookies are a nice touch. Generally a real nice, real convenient place to stay. There are two ladies who work the front desk, Mary and Kanga, who were the absolute highlight of my stay in Durango. They had marvelous recommendations for things to do and places to eat, and they were kind enough to let me hang around and chat with them in the evening. Truly felt like visiting with old friends. I hope their managers realize how much those two elevate the experience of their guests. Thanks to them I'm making sure MY managers know that whenever we have to book a stay in Durango, this is the place. Thank you both for being so warm and so welcoming, and for making me feel so safe and cozy. Hope to see y'all again next time! 😁✌️

We had a wonderful stay right on the beautiful river. Jennifer helped us out a lot. She was working at the restaurant. We had a young man at the desk. Be extra helpful when we had questions about our Bill. I’m unfortunately not remembering his name. I think it might’ve been Tyler. Everybody was great. We love the restaurant would highly recommend for Location and everything especially if you’re doing the train ride experience.
