The whole experience with the hotel, as well as the location, for our purpose, Was great. My primary comment would be that the people who worked in the hotel were all very good especially considering that the entire hotel was filled with teenage soccer players. Every time I needed something from the front desk, Makisha and Michael we’re friendly and accommodating. There were also other people at the front desk, who were very good, but I did not get their names. These are the two who I spoke with several times, each, and they were professional, pleasant, And really good at their jobs in terms of Excellent customer service. I left this hotel with a positive feeling; I was glad I happen to stay there, for five nights!
" The chef sells the cookies." WTH??? Since when??? Only reason I know about this hotel is because once upon a time... a long time ago, a friend told me they had the best hospitality and the best cookies. Been a reward member since. From my last job I've been MIA for a minute but I'm now starting to stay at hotels again and I was disappointed with the customer service. The rooms are nice. They have a pool and jacuzzi. They have a bar and restaurant. AND...... the chef sells the cookies. I'm a fat kid at heart and that really hurt my feelings. I guess I'll be going down the street from now on, where I'm sure, they offer clean rooms, pool, jacuzzi, free breakfast and free cookies.
I booked a room on booking.com which led me to this hotel. I arrive and the front desk could not see the reservation yet so the front desk guy who at the time appeared to be pretty helpful. He tells me to chat back to booking.com that I made I mistake and didn’t need the room. He proceeds to tell me that when I cancel they will reach out to the hotel and then refund me per the hotel since I booked the room with him. Sounded believable. I have been calling the hotel and communicating with booking.com for over a month trying to get a refund for the second charge for the same room. I received a message yesterday that the hotel declined my refund. So at this point I have paid for the same room twice, once with booking.com and once with the actual hotel who promised they would ok the refund.
