Overall great and comfortable stay. Prefer to stay in an upper level room to not have a potentially noisy upstairs neighbor stomping around so appreciated that they asked for my preference at check in. I stayed for a state gov’t work trip so they do offer state gov’t rate as of May 2025. King bed room was nicely decorated and neat. They had a nice water fountain downstairs, great bar area to hang out at after a long day and working area with comfy looking chairs. AC unit/fan was not too loud, enough to have some slight white noise going on in the background. I enjoy staying at Hilton hotels to accumulate points. Overall would likely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Doubletree hotel on Fresno, and I have to highlight the outstanding service I received from the front desk staff. I found myself in a minor predicament when I realized I had forgotten to pack toothpaste. After checking the hotel convenience store and finding they were out of stock, I approached the front desk feeling a bit frustrated. The woman working at the front desk was absolutely lovely. Instead of simply apologizing for the inconvenience, she took a genuine interest in helping me. When I explained what I needed, she said she might have something and disappeared for a moment. She returned with a small personal-size tube of toothpaste - exactly what I needed! This kind of thoughtful, above-and-beyond service really made my stay memorable. It’s the little things that show a hotel truly cares about their guests’ comfort and well-being. The staff member’s willingness to go out of her way to solve my problem, combined with her warm and friendly demeanor, exemplifies the kind of hospitality that keeps me coming back to this hotel.

The building inside is pretty impressive as soon as you walk in, you can see eight floors of rooms and a huge fountain along with tons of seating and work areas. It’s a beautiful lobby. The downside is that the rooms are pretty dated, but they are clean and the beds are comfortable Parking is free and there is a security guard monitoring the area. I didn’t see much in terms of restaurants within walking distance, but there is a restaurant inside the hotel as well as Pizza Hut and Starbucks.
