DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central

We spent our first night in Scotland at the Glasgow Central Double Tree as a part of a tour group. After nearly 30 hours of travel my party entered the hotel exhausted. We were met by attentive receptionists who assisted with bags without even asking. They were kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. A great start to our trip after a rough day to get here. At dinner in the hotel restaurant, we were served delicious food and were served by a dynamic duo of wait staff named Lucy and Stephanie. These two went above and beyond to ensure our meal was a treat. Great hospitality, food, service, and comfortable clean rooms. I highly recommend.

The had a 2 night stay and it was great. The location is not far from a lot of things to do either but walking or a short car ride away. The staff was super friendly and help when there were a few issues that came up like the ac not working they brought up a fan super quick and our hair dryer that was dying.(it sounded awful and I fully apologize to our neighbors). The room was bigger than expected and clean over all it was a good stay. I do have add that Stephanie in the hotel restaurant was amazing and the food was delicious.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel after a 2 week vacation around Scotland. I usually like to stay in more quaint and boutique style hotels but after two weeks enjoying those stays around the country I have to admit this more modern hotel was a nice welcome. Air conditioning, large rooms, large beds, large bathroom, large shower, large elevator. Location is walking distance to most everything. It also had it's own parking garage and easy access from the major highways. Driving to the airport from here was an easy 20 minute drive. Restaurant and bar served decent food and drinks. Breakfast buffet was good. Holly at reception upon checking in was more than helpful with suggesting things to see and places to eat. I would definitely stay here again if in Glasgow.
