DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester

We often stay here but recently held our Ruby wedding celebration in the Abby suite. Would highly recommend this as a private party venue. Nothing was to much trouble from beginning to end. Room is lovely , staff are fantastic and the buffet was amazing. The team ensured we had the best time.

We have just come back from a one night spa break. We re-booked this trip after coming in 2023 for my hen do, we honestly couldn't fault it then and couldn't fault it now. This is a beautiful hotel, with extremely clean rooms, fabulous spa facilities and extremely helpful and friendly staff. We arrived a little early on the day itself and was told our room wasn't ready (as we expected due to the early arrival) but the friendly reception staff informed us they would ask housekeeping to clean our room as a priority. We popped out to the local garden centre for a little and returned to our beautiful clean room (number 76). Guest services kindly provided in room treats which was totally unexpected but such a lovely touch and it really made our weekend! We can't thankyou enough for this start to our weekend, such a lovely gesture. We then made our way to the spa to use the facilities which was fantastic, the spa was a little busy but it was the weekend. We then had our treatments and felt completely relaxed after them. It was then time for our 3 course meal in the garden terrace restaurant, the food was lovely! Plenty of choice on the menu and we couldn't fault a thing! The bar staff also made a very good expresso martini! Breakfast is one of the best, plenty of choice. Thankyou Hilton Chester for another fabulous stay! From your reception staff, to guest services, to the spa staff and restaurant staff too - all were brilliant with us! We are already in the process of looking to come back again next year and we have only returned home today.

Attended for an off-site corporate meeting. The Aircon in the room didn't work very well in the room and completely stopped working in the afternoon, far from ideal on one of the hottest days of the year. The staff are very polite and helpful and food was very good.
