DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Arlington DFW South

Its not enough words to express how wonderful, caring and considerate everyone was at the hotel. We were one of the families that was there for a family reunion. I had the most interaction with Chelsea with making sure everything was in place! She did just that and more. She reassured me time and time again that everything would work out and it did! Thanks Chelsea for assisting us with having a memorable and grand celebration!!! BTW... Great food choices!! It was right on time. Oh, it was a Hispanic lady that was there that Saturday morning, she was so patient, understanding and respectful with a challenging family member. I appreciate that. Her name may or may not have been Cynthia. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend.

Stayed 4 weeks in this hotel. Everyone from the front desk to management to maintenance to housekeeping were terrific. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. While there, a baseball tournament with about 100 unruly kids were in the hotel. I appreciated the staff doing their best to control the chaos that the parents seemed unwilling to address. The staff remained professional as these kids broke pictures, baseboards, screamed their lungs out and ran the halls. I guess the parents were too busy at the bar to notice. Luckily, their time was short lived and peace was restored. I commend the staff on their professionalism. The cookies at the front desk are amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was woken up at 2 am because despite being handed a paper that stated quiet hours started at 11 PM, there were people sitting at a table literally right outside my window (like 2 feet away) laughing and listening to music. Called the front desk and was told they would be told to quiet down. Despite this, I was still extremely annoyed people were even allowed to be out and partying at this time when I had to wake up at 7 am and instead was woken up at 2 due to people in the pool area when usually hotels don't allow people in the pool area after a certain time. I have no idea whose genius idea it was to put a TABLE directly outside someone's WINDOW. I'm to exaggerating- I opened my curtains and was directly in front of a large group of people. I paid $$$ for my room and should not have to have had that experience. I had horrible time falling back asleep, and it caused a massive fight between my boyfriend and I, because we were both tired and were already not going to be getting enough sleep. It completely ruined my stay. At around midnight when I walked into the lobby, someone else was blasting music as well. Not a great stay and I will do everything to avoid DoubleTree in the future.
