I checked in and after getting into my room and unloading all my baggage and took the cart back downstairs, I attempted to put items in the fridge and it wasn't cold at all I then turned on the TV and the whole screen was blue so I called down and was moved to another room so I went back downstairs to get the cart and loaded all my bags "Again"! Went to the new room and proceeded to turn on the TV and yes, now this TV was really dark on the top half of the screen! I'm not packing up again and moving again but it's absolutely ridiculous that they have better TVs at the cheap motels! Very disappointing and I won't be coming back here!
I would have rather picked a motel over this place. I don’t think I will ever stay at a double tree again. First when we got there they told us that our room that we reserved wasn’t ready. Mind you our check in was at 3. We got there at 6. After that when we finally got our room we walked it and it just smelled like old. It smelled like an old box of dusty crayons. We have noticed a stain on the floor and stains in the restroom. We didn’t bother putting up a fight so we just left to enjoy our trip. When waking up in the morning we thought that the breakfast would be complementary like other motels and hotels. For that mediocre breakfast they wanted to charge us $20 per person. I did speak to the front desk about it and they only charged us for one. Over all not the best experience. I should have just booked a Super 8.
Website says free parking then you have to pay an additional 15$ a day to park there. Apparently, they have less than half the food on the menu and still charge you full price. No manger to get a hold of at all. For the cost of the room I'd expect it to be not so low quality. The desk person and 1 poor bar tender/waiter were very nice.
