DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina

I have stayed here 2xs while moving my college student from her dorm .. the hotel is nice the staff is very friendly an helpful.. But the rooms could use an upgrade the restrooms have no vents an i did see a few mold spots from not enough air flow in the bathrooms . New more firm pillows would be nice .. they charge like 35 40 dollars a night /day just to park its crazy the stay needs to include a worry free parking for the guest . More seating at pool area there was a ghetto family hogging all the seats i am disabled an there was no seats for me there the family that was there was also eating in the pool area went up to their rooms an left all their stuff hogging the only seats ,chairs an tables there it would be nice if managers or staff keep a closer eye on people at the pool area not following the rules of the hotel . Otherwise i will be staying there again the prices are reasonable

Nice hotel especially for the price. I had a room in building 4, 4th floor and could see the water. It needs a little refurbishing/maintenance in the rooms, but the grounds and public areas were great. Bar was a little spendy though. Location limits you a bit unless you drive or Uber, but as trade-off is right at the Marina and great view of the city

Location is perfect for doing business in the area, and I like older hotels that were built to a better standard. Very quiet. Rooms are showing their age a bit, but that’s the trade off. Pricing is much better than staying in the City, and you don’t have to listen traffic, horns honking, sirens. Staff is great, and the restaurant’s food is better than you might expect
