DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Billings

Had to wait almost an hour for our room to be ready even though we were there during the assigned check in time. I transferred stuff to the mini fridge that night and the next morning everything was warm. Realized the fridge wasn’t even plugged in or even next to an outlet. I had to move it about 6 feet to the nearest one. But location was convenient and staff was friendly. We had a cargo box on top of our van so we didn’t for in the parking garage. They have a small open parking areas for the hotel but it fills up quickly

This was our second time staying at this hotel and within two years and the same things stuck out to me each time. I think this is a good hotel but the building is showing its age and needs some renovations/ maintenance. Shower head in the shower made a horrid sound my whole shower, tub drain didn’t drain well. Bathroom kinda on the small side. Service at the front desk has always been top tier though. Probably will go with a different Hilton property in the future.

I stayed at the DoubleTree in Billings, Montana, and unfortunately, the rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. The lamp fixtures and electrical outlets on the nightstand are outdated and not very functional. No microwaves in the rooms. The bathroom was especially disappointing-there was rust in the shower base and even hair on the ceiling above the shower, which was very off-putting. Overall, the cleanliness needs improvement, especially in the bathrooms. I expected a higher standard from a DoubleTree property. Area where towels are kept were dusty. 5 stars to- Lisa and her catering crew, did an amazing job catering our conference breakfast. The setup was beautifully done-everything from the linens, silverware, napkins, and glasses was professionally arranged, clean, and polished. The attention to detail was impressive. The food was absolutely fantastic and well-received by everyone. Excellent service and presentation all around. Great job!
