DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bristol South Cadbury House

We had a great stay here. Carparking an extra charge. They allowed us an early check in. Nice modern rooms/environment. Restaurant was pleasant (but not fine dining) for evening meal and buffet breakfast. A lovely outlook across the grounds whilst having a drink or two. Pool area was good although it needs a bit of TLC. The outdoor jacuzzi and lounger area was a nice surprise and an absolute sun trap! All the staff provided excellent customer service without exception which is a refreshing change these days so well done. We would recommend a stay here.

Gorgeous location for a friend's long-awaited wedding. Having never stayed at a Hilton before, it was something we were looking forward to. The service and location didn't disappoint, the grounds were lovely; fountain, pond, lots of photo opportunities for a special day. There was plenty of parking and every person, from front desk to cleaning staff was so nice. Four stars for the room due to the random razor left in our shower, which we didn't notice at first and was clearly from the previous guest. This was reported and the front desk asked if we wanted housekeeping to sort it but by that time we were nearly checking out. Hopefully this was just an oversight while cleaning and not a reflection of the standard overall. We would certainly consider Hilton again and have signed up to their members emails.

Beautiful venue, friendly staff. However they have no maintenance staff on the weekend so we couldn't use our bathroom sink for our entire weekend away. Bed was rock solid. Dinner at Marco Pierre White was fabulous, great for allergies/ gluten free. The wedding we attended was beautiful. But the event staff didn't know allergies, and I was sadly badly glutened during the evening. Honestly, I probably wouldn't visit again.
