DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chongqing Nan'an

We shared such pleasures to stay with Doubletree Nan’an. 5min walking from nearest metro station Gongmao (工贸), the tallest skyscraper around. Executive lounge at the top, check in&out, dining, meeting are available. The hospitality is the best experience from our aspect. From an elite member of Hilton, Doubletree Nan’an definitely a great place to stay from your Chongqing journey.

Stayed 5 nights - Rooms are clean and spacious. Service depends on your luck - most are professionally polite. Breakfast not the best but alright. Lvl 3 Chinese restaurant has pretty decent food. There is a Chagee and starbucks nearby, a tourist gift shop just outside the hotel (easy to buy gifts back) and 3 convenient stores (lawson). Didi pick up hit or miss. I had 3 drivers not coming to the hotel pick up indicated but instead were at the opposite main road. Location - this is outside the main tourist attraction location thus traffic is slightly better. 30 minutes from CQ international airport

My husband is a Diamond member of Hilton Honors, and while we were offered a room upgrade during our stay, unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. For non-smokers and families traveling with children, I strongly advise reconsidering. Despite being assigned a non-smoking room and requesting changes multiple times, the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke was unavoidable. The scent lingered in the hallways, rooms, and even in areas clearly marked as non-smoking. It was so strong that our hair, clothes, and belongings absorbed the odor, making it difficult to rest comfortably. This experience was far below our expectations, especially for a property under the Hilton brand.
