Aside from being stuck briefly in the elevator when the power went out (which was beyond the hotel's control), our experience was flawless. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, air conditioning was cold, beds were very comfortable, and the two bottles of water and cookie were appreciated. Our room was cleaned every day and we never had to call the front desk with any problems. I'd stay here again without hesitation!
Checking into the hotel was painless and easy with no problems. Motel is clean, has plenty of economy and additions. We have no issues so far, besides me accidentally throwing my car keys into the trash can by accident. That was a long story within its own right, however Dominique, able, and Misha were awesome helping get the keys out. They did everything in their power and they succeeded. I would recommend hotel to a friend or to really anybody. I really do appreciate the service here as they are wonderful and so far everything has been great. Including the gumbo.
The Hotel isn't bad per se but you need to know the ridiculousness that comes with this hotel. This hotel will charge $18 everyday of your stay to park your vehicle at the hotel. At check in we were told of a 1 time fee (which is still crazy) and handed a parking pass. If you add this to the room rate you could have a room at a much nicer hotel in a better spot with parking included. This hotel has a bridge between the "north tower" and the main hotel. The windows in the bridge can offer a beautiful view of the sunset with the city and mountains...well if you are 5'10" or taller that is. They have these ridiculous decals that block the bottom half of the windows preventing kids and short people from seeing the view. There is no complimentary breakfast but you can have the option to pay about $20 per plate for their in-house restaurant. During our stay there was never a time when the water in the hot tub was actually clear. Could not see my hand past about 9 inches under the water. The rooms (at least the room in which I stayed) did not have a microwave so grabbing something from the grocery store to heat up in the room was not an option. The hotel has the overall appearance of being very nice about 20 years ago but the finishes are starting to show their age. Not super convenient for trips into the city and a bit far from the airport. They did not keep the pool towels stocked during our stay and we had to walk dripping through the hotel to the desk to ask for towels. Like I said it wasn't a horrible place but with many better options in the area all the negatives will definitely persuade me to look for different accommodations on my next trip. I have not stayed in a Hilton branded hotel for a number of years and if they are all like this I am not in a hurry to return. The Staff was kind and the Pizza offered in the coffee shop area is decently priced for the area.
