Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Fayetteville

We stayed one night while traveling through to get to Florida. As an owner of a Cleaning Company I must say it is very hard to impress me when it comes to Hotels. Especially when it comes the cleanliness of rooms. The bathrooms were very well cleaned and kept. No mold in the grout, no hair in the shower or floors, and no ring in the toilet. The beds were clean and the room temperature was perfect upon arrival. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. We didn't stay long but from what I saw from walking around the property it was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Status does not matter here. When asking g for a late check out was told by 2 different front desk clerks that any time past 12:00pm there is a charge. Even as a diamond status member. Diamonds are supposed to be able to get late check out until 2pm without a charge. Again, status does not matter here. You make the call.

To be fair I did arrive at the hotel early around 12 noon. The young lady at the front desk told me the room is not ready so go out and grab some food and come back at 1:30 or 2, which was fine and what I did. I came back a few minutes after 2 and the room was not ready. Still no problem, I rented the presidential suite in which the receptionist said they allowed the party before me to have a late check knowing I was already there. However, none of this is the problem, I interacted with 3 receptionist on this day, which was July 13 and all 3 of them were very nasty in speech and attitude. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels over the years even being a diamond member many of those years and I have never felt so unappreciated, disrespected, and disregarded as I felt on that day. They acted more like I was a piece of trash than a person. The hotel room, even though I had the presidential suite was worn and dated. The bathtubs in both bathrooms had really bad brown stains in them and the towel floor mat was wet. I could live with all that, none of it mattered but the way I felt disrespected by those 3 ladies. I figured every one at the hotel was nasty like that. The only ray of hope I saw in my stay was checking out on the 14th. There was a young black lady at the front desk and she was so pleasant and I thanked her for being so kind. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to be humiliated.
