UPDATE: to the response given "We cannot discount rooms because of renovations since we have given guests notice". Maybe the replying person didn't read the entire first part of my review...we were not given any information re. renovations, even when we called the actual hotel to make our original reservation. We were not told anything by the person at the front desk when we checked in. There was zero information given to us that there would be noisy equipment being used during our stay, even on your signs. There was no notice. My original post... Don't go here if you're looking for peace and quiet. This hotel is under construction, and without any warning, aside from tiny signs, (warning of the mess, not the NOiSE), we were booked in a room where the construction noise was incredibly loud. They could've let us know when we called for reservations (or even when we checked in), but did not. When we spoke to the lady about this while checking out, she gave a slight smirky smile, not much of an apology, and charged us the rate we agreed upon when we made the reservation, stating we were already getting a "discount" and couldn't do anything more. Had we known about this, we would've stayed else where for the same rate, and a better experience. They will not be getting my business in the future. I gave 2 stars because some of the other staff we encountered were very polite and nice, which I appreciate.

I understand they are renovating, so this review hopefully will not longer apply in the near future but as of June 2025….we had 2 double queens on the 3rd floor and both of our rooms were musty and dingy. Bed was clean but the rest was just…ick. It is in need of that update badly. Front desk clerk was very nice. The warm chocolate chip cookies was the best part of the stay.

Currently doing much needed renovations but what is open is old and run down. Was probably really nice 30 years ago. Duct tape holding down floor of elevator. Room was clean but nothing special. Beds excessively soft but that's a personal preference I guess. Restaurant on site but looked pricy for basic bar foods. They have a breakfast buffet for $15 in the restaurant, people were waiting outside of it to open after stated opening time when we checked out. Over $10 for a coke and candy bar from the front desk. Rate should've been significantly discounted for work being done and current condition of the motel.
