I stayed here for several days while visiting family and I am pleased to say that this hotel has dramatically changed since I left Jefferson City three years ago. The rooms are immaculate. The front lobby is beautiful food service under Gene Arras was excellent. I will definitely be staying here on any future visits to the Jefferson City area.
My stay was great, however there's some things I didn't agree with. I am I Hilton Honors member and booked through the app, was told no deposit required however still got charged $25 that I have yet to get back. On top of that, breakfast is NOT free but they don't tell you until they hand you the bill. They don't even offer free coffee. The room was cool. I had a nice view being on the 12th floor. But the AC is hard to work and EXTREMELY squeaky. Makes it hard to sleep. Also the bathroom is super small and right behind the front door. The pool and whirlpool were fantastic🔥 the pool is heated so it was perfect temperature and the whirlpool felt amazing. In order to get to most of the places through elevator, you have to scan your key first, however their machine thing was down and having issues the entire night. Understandable but frustrating when your on the highest floor in the building. Its a good place to stay, just make sure you FULLY know what you're getting before you book.
I stayed here July 19-20. Booked a room with breakfast included (well above best available rate). Checked in, but quickly discovered our room had not been cleaned. Had to wait in line for a second try, but the front desk person was able to get us into a room that had been cleaned. After checkout, received our bill that included the full price of breakfast ($49.98 for a party of 2, which was ridiculous for the offerings). I called Hilton's 1-800 and was told I had booked at the best available rate (I hadn't) and breakfast was not included. Unfortunately didn't take a screenshot when I booked. Too many problems to risk this again. I will avoid Hilton in the future.
