DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London ExCel

Just leaving after a weekend staying at this amazing hotel. The staff here are so friendly, helpful and efficient, they certainly are the reason this hotel is a success. Rooms clean and spacious and air-conditioning throughout the hotel which helped as it was 34°, hottest day this year so far. Food was lovely and parking so easy with plenty of spaces. View of the Thames and London Would definitely stay here again

We arrived at the hotel around 2 a.m. feeling completely exhausted after a very rough experience at another property. My wife, our two young kids, and I were tired and unsure of what to expect. But from the moment we stepped inside, Andi and Luis greeted us with warmth and kindness that instantly turned our night around. Andi especially stood out, quickly arranging everything we needed to make us feel comfortable right away. Luis was also wonderful, ensuring our check-in was seamless and stress-free. Within minutes, they had set up baby cribs and took care of every small detail, allowing us to finally relax after a challenging night. It’s rare to find such genuine care and hospitality, and this hotel has it in abundance. I highly recommend this hotel not only because of its comfortable rooms and excellent amenities but because the staff, particularly Andi and Luis, go out of their way to make your stay special. Thank you both again for making our difficult night so memorable and comforting.

The breakfast offered everything you could possibly wish for (except kippers, but I'm vegetarian). The shower was excellent and the bed very comfortable. I couldn't find a restaurant menu and was told at checkout that I should have been informed that I could find it on the TV; other than that, the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an ideal location for visiting Excel or London City Airport, but I had a lot of difficulty reaching the hotel by public transport and would have preferred to be in central London.
