DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles Downtown

Definitely one of my top places to stay in LA. The location alone is reason enough, as there are so many fantastic restaurants of various cuisines and shops right within walking distance! Anything you are looking for you can find in the neighborhood. The rooms are clean, the hotel itself was quiet for the most part, with exception for when there were events taking place. There is a 7/11 right across the street.

Stayed here for one night while attending a concert nearby. The parking area is easy to access. They offer valet or self parking options. In my opinion, prices for both are a bit unreasonable. It cost $47.00 a night to park your vehicle. That alone is reason to lose a star for overall rating. We did find that the lobby and room to be nice, and fit well with the price we paid to stay. All the staff we spoke with were extremely friendly. We were grateful that they checked us in early for our room. The room was presented as clean and tidy. There are lots of power outlets for charging devices and powering other electronics. The water pressure is unmatched. Meaning, I’ve never stayed in a hotel room with such high water pressure. Not to complain, it was just a bit of a surprise. Would recommend, and would stay here again. Likely will soon, but really hope parking rates are reduced for people who stay at your hotel.

stayed a few nights for the MCR concert. the hotel is very clean, and the room was nice. it had a nice TV and fridge. there are a lot of things close to the area to visit and do (China Town, Little Tokyo, etc). everyone working was very friendly and helpful the bad: the NOISE from downstairs was insane. we had a 6th floor room that overlooked the garden and the shopping area downstairs. there was blasting music from that we could hear till after 2am and was still going at 7am when we woke up. it was so loud and you could feel the bass so much that even the TV didn't block it out this cost to park is outrageous but you have no choice really. the parking garage was dirty and smelled, cars/trucks were parked in no parking areas making it hard to drive through to find a spot. last major issue was that every day the cleaning crew came at like 830ish knocking on the door to see if they could clean. that's way too early
