DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet

Great experience for the one night we spent, leaving us wanting to come back. Lily, the manager was extremely nice and professional. She went above and beyond our expectations, and was especially accomodating for our kids to have a great experience. The staff was very professional and friendly, too. The breakfast was delicious -especially those breakfast potatoes- and we were surprised to see a wide variety of delicious and nutritious options, including dairy-free milk options and various kinds of bagels. The fruits were fresh. The indoor pool was perfect for families and the space itself was very nice. Our beds were very comfortable and the kitchen area was pretty spacious. We would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you to the whole staff.

I originally booked my stay through Booking.com, and unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed upon arrival after a 12-hour drive. I was informed by Chloe at the front desk that my reservation had been canceled without any prior notice. Naturally, my anxiety skyrocketed. This trip was for my son's 10th birthday, it was already 8 p.m., and we were all exhausted from the long drive. Despite the situation being out of her control, Chloe went above and beyond to assist us. She immediately began searching for nearby hotels, but the rates were significantly higher than what I had originally booked. Understanding our circumstances, I chose to go with a king bed room just to have somewhere to rest. Before finalizing the payment, I had to step away briefly to take care of something, and by the time I returned, Chloe had gone the extra mile and found a room in their system that could comfortably accommodate all three of us at a comparable rate. Her professionalism, empathy, and commitment to helping us in a stressful moment truly stood out. On top of that, Chloe made us feel incredibly welcomed. She offered complimentary water and warm cookies to my son and aunt, which was such a thoughtful gesture. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised that they had vegan cookies and spring water available for me as well. It’s the little things like this that make a big difference. Because of Chloe’s outstanding service, I’ve decided to book directly with Double Tree by Hilton moving forward and even became a Hilton Honors member. She completely turned around what could have been a very frustrating experience. Hilton is lucky to have someone like her representing their brand.

This was a great option for us visiting family in the area. The rooms are little dated but clean and comfortable. The common areas are great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The area is beautiful. There’s some shopping and few restaurants very close by but not walkable. I will come back…
