DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Ohio

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Would highly recommend. The high rating of a 5 comes from my interactions with the people who work at the front desk. Specifically, Brittany and the younger fella who's name I did not catch on this last visit. Brittany is a fantastic people person, she is outstanding at her job. She genuinely cares about each and every person's comfort & satisfaction during their stay at this hotel. I've witnessed this and I have personally experienced it. She is an asset to this hotel. Hotel has a little bar and a Starbucks inside. Food is always good.

Stayed here for an out of town wedding, was very happy & impressed with our accommodations. Staff was very friendly & helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping, we were always met with friendliness & a smile. Also enjoyed the full bottles of shampoo, conditioner & lotion for your use in the room instead of the standard single use bottles you're usually given. Beds & pillows were very comfy. You made our stay very pleasurable & will return if ever in the area. Oh & the hot chocolate chip cookies were a wonderful touch!😋

The ladies at the front desk were great! Also the 2nd shift bar tender! They were all welcoming and friendly. The breakfast lady pretty much accused me of stealing a breakfast because another guest gave me a extra breakfast coupon he had. I did in fact pay for my own breakfast. The food was great and the over all experience was great. I just would recommended asking a guest versa assuming I was going to use the card that was pretty much just thrown on my table as I was eating, like the kitchen staff witnessed.
