The room was spacious and clean and great value for money. The best thing was the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I would specially like to give credit to the staff at the hotel restaurant. We came for a late dinner, 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, but they were happy to take our order and make sure we had a great meal. The food was amazing and they really went the extra mile. We will definetly return.

The service was exceptional! We arrived early, and we weren't expecting to get checked in, but they did check us in and I really appreciated that, because the weather that morning was rainy and the options to do something else were scarce. To rooms, amenities, pool and spa are also really good. It's a little further away from the city center, but I like to walk so for me that was not an issue, I liked it. And that's the only negative thing I have to say about the hotel.

Decent stay, but room for improvement The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was actually quite good. However, the overall facilities were limited for a hotel in this category. The number of elevators was clearly insufficient — we had to wait quite a while during peak hours. I also had an issue with the dinner service. About 10 minutes after placing and confirming my order at the restaurant, I was informed that the item I had chosen was actually unavailable. We politely said it wasn’t a problem, but such a situation should not occur in a hotel of this standard. What made it worse was being charged for the drinks we consumed while waiting. Charging guests after a service failure reflects very poorly on the establishment. I strongly recommend training your staff on how to handle such situations more professionally. A small gesture of goodwill can go a long way in turning a mistake into a positive experience. Overall, an average stay — not bad, but certainly not up to the expectations one usually has from a DoubleTree hotel.
