DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Savannah Airport

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff was very friendly. Mrs. Z and Mrs Tonya really made this experience amazing. They were attentive, kind, and hospitable. They really made the stay here exceptional. The rooms were great and the location was perfect for my trip. I will definitely be recommending this hotel!

We had to book this very quickly for the same day after having issues with our air bnb. It got the job done. The location is nice, felt very safe, and was quiet. The front desk staff was nice. As others have stated, I wouldn’t even bother with the digital key. I’m not sure why it’s even offered. I’d just stop at the front desk and get a key card. Unfortunately, the room was HOT. We turned the air down to 65 as soon as we got in the room and the coldest it ever got was from 75 down to 73, and it didn’t even stay at 73. So, if you’re someone who likes to sleep cold, you might skip this one. The window unit was blowing hard, cold air the whole time, so I don’t understand why it wasn’t enough to circulate and cool the room. Our day had already been a cluster and my kids were already asleep by the time we realized it wasn’t going to cool off, so perhaps the hotel could’ve helped if I had given them the opportunity, I’m not sure. But for $250 for one night that was a bit rough.

Hotel is older. Wallpaper peeling etc. it’s due for a renovation. ac works great. Water pressure is good. Pillows are firm which is nice. Front desk was quick and easy. There is a restaurant on the first floor. Didn’t eat there but did look decent.
