The staff , many of whom spoke English , and the accommodation were excellent . I arrived with my friend at the hotel after falling ill during the flight over from Australia . I was helped in every way possible even being accompanied by one of the managers to a local hospital for assistance and medication . My non-smoking room was clean ,fresh and well maintained . Many of the staff in both restaurants spoke English and their service and the food was excellent . I cannot speak highly enough of the management and staff at this hotel . I had hoped to use the pool and gym but was not well enough which was a real disappointment as both facilities looked great .

A pretty old hotel. Room has very very strong cigarette smoke smell and some corners are dusty. Room is very warm though aircon is adjusted to be cooler. Nearby is commercial building for wholesale products.

The room was scorching hot (even though it was fairly cold outside in the evenings). The thermostat showed it was 26.5 degrees (80 degrees Fahrenheit). I had a late night arrival and really didn't appreciate arriving to a hot room. After fiddling with the thermostat and realizing it was locked, I asked the front desk to adjust the temperature. They said they could only send a fan up to the room. The fan helped, but it was still very hot and I had trouble sleeping. I emailed the executive lounge to see if there was anything they could do for the second night and their suggestion was to open a window. For safety reasons, the windows only open a little bit...and that did not make any difference in the temperature. If the hotel advertises air conditioning as an amenity, it should be ON and they should allow guests to control their room's temperature. I expect much better from Hilton.
