DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Intercontinental Airport

Really great service! Was there for a convention. Arrived at 9:30am with a 3pm check-in time and Roula at Registration gave me a room on arrival, PLUS a ticket to the breakfast buffet, which was still open for another 30 minutes, and I didn't even need to ask for any of this--was simply offered when I arrived. The next day, I somehow managed to trip a breaker in the bathroom, but couldn't for the life of me get the breaker to reset, so I asked the desk for help. While at breakfast, engineering came in, fixed it, and left me a lovely note thanking me for helping keep the hotel running smoothly and instructing me to proceed to the registration desk to get a warm chocolate-chip cookie. :-) That was above and beyond! Room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Free shuttle to airport. Highly recommend.

The water pressure in the shower is very nice. The elevators are fast and plentiful. Door dash has no problem delivering to your door. The swimming pool area is very nice, however with all the trees it needs to be cleaned up more often. The restaurant is somewhat pricey. The food is ok, it will do if you're hungry. The front desk staff were fun and very pleasant. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy.

This is a top-notch place to stay if you need to be close to the airport. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are nice. They are always cleaned and maintained well. Other amenities worth noting are the pool and veranda area which are an excellent spot to relax. The bar and restaurant are also worth noting. The chicken tenders were excellent and highly recommended.
