DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Westchase

I reserved a room at this hotel through a third-party site. When I arrived I was not able to check in due to an issue with the third-party site. The front desk manager and another agent were very helpful. I was able to cancel the third-party reservation and book directly through the hotel. As an Honors member, I received a text message from the MOD asking if everything was okay with my stay. I will definitely book here again for myself and family members because of the great customer service and hospitality shown during my stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at The DoubleTree recently, and I must say that my experience was made unforgettable by the outstanding service provided by Jennay at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Jennay greeted me with a warm smile and professionalism that instantly made me feel welcome. They took the time to explain the amenities, answer all my questions, and ensure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Their attention to detail was remarkable, even going above and beyond to accommodate a special request I had. What stood out most was how Jennay made me feel like a valued guest, not just another check-in. The level of care and dedication they showed truly set the tone for my entire stay. It’s rare to come across such exceptional customer service, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. Thank you, Jennay, for your incredible hospitality. This hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms are a nice size, our bed was comfortable, and the property was overall quiet and clean. However, I lowered the rating due to air conditioning and water pressure. There was a swamp cooler machine in the lobby. It's not a great first impression. There was no AC in the hallways, and we were sweating in the morning waiting on an elevator. The water pressure in the shower is barely useable to wash long hair. My assumption is that these are management decisions to cut costs but it downgrades the property.
